Today we listened to the story ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson.
This story inspired our play today at Forest School. We used the minibeast collection tools and identity charts to see if we could find superworm and his friends.
We also had a go at making magic potions like ‘Wizard Lizard’. Some of us decided to be kind wizards and make helpful magic potions, and some of us decided to be evil wizards and make dangerous potions!
The children really enjoyed searching for natural woodland ingredients and using the special magic ingredients, like mermaid tears, lizards snot and beetle juice. We then worked with our friends to mix up our potions in large pots and pans using our magic sticks.
What magic potion would you make? Which ingredients would you use?
