Today was the last Forest School session for Matilda Class. To celebrate this we went on one final trip to Hunsbury Hill Country Park on the minibus. When we arrived we had a short time to play in the park before it started to rain and we had to take shelter in the trees. Whilst taking shelter we had a special snack ice cream treat and talked about our favourite times at Forest School.
When the rain had stopped we went on an adventure through the woods, along narrow high paths, down steep slopes and through valleys of roots and trees. When we came to a clearing in the woods we found a place to sit and Mrs Read presented us with our name cookies to keep as a souvenir from Forest School.
I hope you have had an enjoyable time at Forest School Matilda class, and that your adventures in the woods continue!
