Paddington class went on an Autumn walk around the local woods this afternoon, looking for some of the signs of Autumn.
We worked together in pairs and had a checklist of Autumn items to look for. On our walk we stopped at several points to take a closer look around and tick things from our list.
The children were very good at spotting signs of Autumn and we managed to tick nearly everything of our list. Things we spotted included red, orange and yellow leaves, fungi, berries, conkers, pine cones and a squirrel!
The children particularly enjoyed a part of the woods which was covered in a beautiful blanket of leaves, which were perfect for running and jumping through, and throwing and kicking into the air.
Well done Paddington class!
